I have never done an annual review of my previous year’s work, thus decided to do so for 2021. Since Covid Times began in earnest in 2020 and ended up changing my and my wife’s lives forever, I’ll start with that fateful Year of the Rat, not an inappropriate moniker, in retrospect.
After a total of 16 years in China, the last residence and work being 2010-2019, my wife wanted a change of pace, so we moved to Chiang Mai, Thailand, just weeks before the now infamous “new coronavirus discovery” in Wuhan, China, during the World Military Games. Since I was already very well informed about the truth of 2003’s SARS “outbreak” in China (I am co-founder and curator for the Bioweapon Truth Commission – www.bioweapontruth.com), I started doing a lot of reporting on what was later dubbed Covid-19 and SARS-COV-2. I got a few things wrong at the very beginning of all my posts, but other than that, it is spot on, including a number of interviews with Chinese and foreigners living and working in China, while Baba Beijing was going into high gear to contain it.

Next, our younger daughter came to visit us in Thailand for Chinese New Year 2020, couldn’t go back to China due to borders being covid-closed, so she ended up finishing her Bachelor’s at Beijing Normal University online, including defending her thesis in front of her professorial committee. She started looking for jobs (she is fully fluent in Mandarin, French and English) and got hired by Huawei in Dusseldorf.
In the meantime, Thailand briefly opened its airports in July 2020, so the three of us flew back to France: my wife and I to take care of her then 88-year-old mother in a nursing home, and dear daughter proceeded to Germany for her first post-diploma job.
My wife and I already had tickets to return to Chiang Mai in September 2020. Nevertheless, borders on both sides froze up again, therefore we could not go back to Thailand. Truth be told, we realized we could not go back anyway, since during our overseas stay, we discovered that my mother-in-law got hijacked by an unscrupulous trustee, who got her declared incompetent (not true), nonetheless, this mafiosi now has control of her assets. Sad to say, but we believe that the court judges are in cahoots with crooked trustees, to get under-the-table payola, for selling assets and real estate. We feel like reluctant actors in a nightmarish movie about “legalized” governmental corruption.
At the end the of the day, we ended up living in my mother-in-law’s house, which has been in the family for four generations and is over 120 years old, to prevent this legalized gang from selling it, against her express wishes, and in spite of the fact that our two daughters want to carry on the ancestral tradition into the fifth generation, which she also wants. Thus, we are spending no small sums of money paying lawyers and notaires (in France they are like high-powered title companies), fighting the sale of the house and our eviction, when my mother-in-law loves having us near her (10km) and taking care of her house, defending her interests and dreams.
We ended up giving up the lease on our house in Chiang Mai. Our British next-door neighbor graciously helped us do a long-distance move using his camera in WeChat and WhatApp, to do a thorough search of every drawer, cabinet and armoire, picking out what we wanted shipped back to France and what to sell there. Then he even more generously held a liquidation sale for us, which ended up paying the sea crate freight back, arriving via Bangkok and Le Havre, right before Christmas 2020.
Our forced retirement location and timing could not have been worse, since Europe is spiraling into a totalitarian plandemic dystopia, and now, even if we wanted to try to find some other less Orwellian place to live, we must stay here to fight to save the family home. Needless to say, the stress of all this has been and continues to weigh on us immensely, and we are struggling with ongoing depression and counteracting it by practicing daily mediation, self-hypnosis, exercise, stretching/yoga, while taking tons of vitamins and supplements for our health and wellbeing.
Furthermore, we respect all people who have decided to get the four different Western mRNA injections and our hearts go out to those who felt forced to do so, including people near and dear to us. In spite of intense social, MSM and governmental pressure, we refuse to comply, but would happily take the classic, flu-based Chinese, Russian, Iranian or Cuban ones, which of course are conveniently not available. Our informed decision has thus added a huge mental weight on our shoulders, since our daily lives are seriously circumscribed without France’s “vaccine” pass, to go anywhere or do anything.
Continuing on, during 2020, as my daughter was now a “Huawei Girl”, I became intensely fascinated with easily one of most amazing corporate stories in recent decades, whose founder Ren Zhengfei considers Mao Zedong to be his mentor and sends Mao speeches and writings to his 200,000 company owning employees, to inspire and fire them up. I continued to do extensive research, read books, and when she later transferred to Paris, I got to visit her Jean-Louis Laplace Mathematics Research Center workplace.
This got to be such a sizeable body of work, that I created a bilingual library about Huawei, and how it is an allegory for the West’s desperate attempts to not only crush China Tech, but overthrow the Chinese people’s communist-socialist way of life, and the sabotage is of course failing miserably,

I will continue to do more in-depth reports on Huawei and have more books to read and review for you, nonetheless, just keeping up with its ongoing business and innovation progress is so staggering, that the above library has two parts – one for allegorical Huawei – and the other for all other China Tech.
During 2018-2021, the egregious kidnapping of Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou inspired me to follow her trial and hearings in Vancouver, whereupon I wrote and produced a number of revealing exposés. I am proud to say that I have not found any other source anywhere on Earth that did such extensive research and analysis on this whole geopolitical drama. As well, I also gathered what is probably the largest document collection, including from Canada and the United States, all available for free, which is posted in each exposé. To close out this dossier in 2021, I just wrapped up my Meng files with a slam dunk investigation into Canada’s Two Michaels. I am honored to have had several of these exposés published on The Greanville Post, CovertAction Magazine, Veterans Today, and Titanic Lifeboat Society.

I created a hugely popular library for Ms. Irina Boyko. She grew up during the Soviet Era and has fully experienced the fall of the USSR. Her passion in retirement is to create subtitles for Soviet and Russian movies, documentaries and songs. As a member of the China Writers’ Group, she sends us translated Russian articles on a variety of historical and geopolitical topics. As a result, other members are commenting and there is fascinating call and response dialogue, which I keep maintaining. I have three books in the works and am not getting to finish them, along with keeping up a CRRS post and podcast every three days. I’ve got to get them done, so please know I will be reducing my posts to every four days in 2022, to see how it goes.

As I finish this review, we are coming up on 2022’s Year of the Tiger, which in the Chinese calendar happens to start on 1 February. I will continue to produce high-quality research, analysis, articles, book reviews, podcasts and interviews every four days, and if I can make progress on my books, will continue to do so. If not, I will slow down to every five days and go from there.
On a personal level, the last two years have been the toughest and most difficult in my nearly 68-year life. For humanity, Covid Times have been some of the darkest and most foreboding, since at least World War I or II. Even then, much of the planet was spared, whereas this dystopian plandemic is affecting the entire human race and on every continent, even researchers in the Antarctic.
The prognosis for the world’s capitalist economies is quite frankly frighteningly fascist. Be that as it may, I have to stay hopeful about the future, as I can’t let the bastards get me down. I’ve got to keep fighting for global social and economic justice. I’ve got friends to be with, colleagues to learn from and family to take care of.
Bonne nouvelle: we just learned our older daughter and her husband back in Oklahoma will be having our first grandchild in June! That’s enough to motivate me and more…
I truly believe the Year of the Tiger is going to see some positive changes for the global capitalist 99%, while the communist-socialist-anti-imperialist (CSAI) countries will continue to resist Eurangloland’s never-ending sabotage, economic and military wars against them – and thrive – being a role model for a multipolar, mutually beneficial, win-win world for all of humanity.
