Bardia Honardar (Host): Geopolitical analyst Jeff Brown joins us from Normandy. Mr. Brown, welcome to the program. Let’s talk about the West’s reaction to Iran’s unveiling of this new domestically built hypersonic missiles. We do sense a hint of hypocrisy here in their response.
Jeff J. Brown (Guest): Well, I would say not just hypocrisy, but envy. There are now four countries in the world that have hypersonic missiles, and they are Russia, China, North Korea, and now Iran. The West does not have a hypersonic missile that’s functioning. They’re still trying to test them. So I think it’s sour grapes. There’s nothing that the West can do to stop North Korea. Countries like North Korea and Iran who cooperate, by the way, on missile technology and tunnel technology. So I just don’t see anything that the West can do.
I saw a little blurb yesterday. Israel came out and said there’s nothing that Iran has that we can’t defend against. But of course, they have to say that, you know, to save face. But this is obviously a big loss of face for Israel and Western Empire.
Bardia: Jeff J. Brown how significant is it the the level of deterrence and defense equipment that Iran has manufactured indigenously, given all the years of sanctions that has been facing by the likes of the United States?
Jeff: Well, yeah, I think it’s I at it and I think it’s wonderful. I mean, I don’t know how much, you know, Iran wants to talk about it, but the fact is, is North Korea has helped Iran a lot with their missile technology and tunnel technology. And, of course, the Americans don’t want to admit that North Korea is technologically advanced. You know, little Communist Koreans aren’t supposed to be able to build hypergliding hypersonic missiles.
And there’s a lot there’s a lot of racism involved here, too. You know, darker skinned Muslims aren’t supposed to be able to create technology like this. And yet Iran just keeps rolling out just one missile after another and one one naval boat after another is just it’s really impressive. And I congratulate Iran and the Iranian people for doing this and reaching out to countries like North Korea to basically become invincible.
I think what would be wonderful now is, is if Iran through the SCO and Saudi Arabia, through the SCO can as members of the SCO, for Iran not be a potential threat to Saudi Arabia and the other Gulf states, but become a trusted, you know, ally to defend them against Western Empire with all of the amazing military equipment that they have developed over the last ten years.
