Xi Jinping’s tour to Europe ended today. The Chinese leader visited France, Serbia and Hungary.

1. What factors might affect the choice of these European countries? What goals did the Chinese leader pursue on this tour?
It was not a difficult choice for Beijing, given that all of Europe is an obedient Yankee lap dog – except Hungary and Serbia. One only has to look at the US blowing up Nord Stream Two to destroy Europe’s industrial base, the suicidal mountain of self-imposed boycotts, blockades and sanctions that the Old
Continent has piled on Russia, and the colossal waste of tens of billions of euros to be spent in the already lost NATO war against Russia in Ukraine, to see what a pathetic American vassal that Europe is.
Outside of Hungary and Serbia, this year is the 60th anniversary of President Charles de Gaulle gaining mutual diplomatic recognition with the People’s Republic of China, and France has a much better reputation among the Chinese than the Five Eyes. Anniversary dates like this are highly regarded by the
Chinese and it has been well-circulated in the national press.
French President Emmanual Macron is a megalomaniac who China know how to charm, and he plays well on the TV screen back in China, as we saw during his state visit to Beijing in April 2023. Like last year, EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, the Anglozionist empire’s Euro-attack dog there
to keep Macron on a short leash.
2. The meeting with French President Macron and EC President von der Leyen was held in the context of the ongoing “trade war” between Europe and China. Should this situation be expected to change after the talks?
Macron and Xi signed 18 agreements on technology, agriculture, aviation, green development, SME
cooperation, people-to-people exchanges, etc., which is good PR for both countries. For the citizens back home, Macron publicly asked Xi not to put onerous import duties on France’s massive exports of
cognac, brandy and other liquors.
But, Macron is only a Goldman-Sachs Pygmalion pretty face. With the neoliberal, austerity drenched 2009 Lisbon Treaty, Brussels rules Europe like a dictatorial tyrant, with the national leaders being totally
emasculated, handed their scripts to read and puppeteered by von der Leyen, who is a sold-out consigliere for Big Pharma, weapon manufacturers and the City of London/Wall Street.
Like in China last year, the EU Commissioner was in Paris to wag her finger in Xi’s face to remind him of how awful China is towards Europe and if it wasn’t for Beijing’s endless support for Russia, NATO would not be losing the war in Ukraine.
Xi and Macron will play to their citizens’ hope for deeper Sino-European cooperation and the Old Continent’s industrial sector will continue to quietly invest billions in China, behind the back of Uncle Sam. Nonetheless, Brussels and Washington, DC will continue to do all they can to sabotage China with boycotts, blockades, sanctions and tariffs. These last, desperate gasps of a declining, 500-year-old colonial empire are failing just as spectacularly as they are against Russia.
- What are the outcomes of the visit? How will it affect relations between the EU, China and the US?
Nothing much will change. NATO is supplying South Korea, Japan, the Philippines and Australia with billions in military hardware and supplies. The United States, UK, France and Australia will continue to harass Beijing in the South China Sea. War and its ensuing human misery are what keeps the West’s capitalist machine from collapsing. Using Taiwan as a NATO proxy, just like Ukraine is being used to attack Russia, will happen sooner than later, in spite of the nicey-nicey, hypocritical double-talk being splashed across European media.
The real winners of Xi’s visit are the peoples of Serbia and Hungary, as their respective leaders, Aleksandar Vučić and Viktor Orbán are the only two Western leaders who work hard to represent the interests of their peoples and fighting against the neocon-neoliberal dictatorship of Uncle Sam across Europe. Serbia is only half-heartedly trying to become a member of the EU and Hungary fights hard against Brussels’ Wokeism and its oligarchic, anti-citizen policies of socioeconomic destruction.
Hungary already has a Chinese-built electric manufacturing plant coming online, a Fudan (Shanghai) University campus, bilateral trade is surging and Chinese companies like Bank of China, Huawei, Wanhua, CATL, EVE Energy, Sunwoda and BYD are investing billions, while the rest of Europe looks on with envy.
The same goes for Serbia, with China investing billions of euros in green energy and infrastructure, which is providing the (NATO) war-ravaged country with thousands of badly needed jobs.
