Short of writing a book, I’ve have done a huge body of work, research and audiovisual podcasts, covering the nearly three-year saga of Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou, who was just freed to return to China. It has been a tawdry tale of arrogant Western empire, government collusion and gross judicial corruption at all levels.

The US blinked first and lost. Meng Wanzhou is not the Black Panthers, lacking funds to defend themselves, to assassinate or frame up for long prison terms (https://chinarising.puntopress.com/2020/05/27/chairman-fred-hampton-jr-the-black-panther-pantha-cubs-their-revolution-for-self-determination-to-serve-the-people-and-fight-the-us-governments-ongoing-program-of-domestic-genocide-on-china/). She is the CFO of the world’s largest and most successful Information and Communication Technology (ICT) company, Huawei. This was another giant frame up and extortion, but at a much higher level. The whole legal process has been such a sham and kangaroo court, which would have to be fully exposed, if Meng were actually extradited and tried for “fraud” in a US court.
Even with the West’s Big Lie Propaganda Machine (BLPM) covering for Canada and the US Department of Justice, it would have been very hard to censor the grotesque and laughable (il)legal process that started with Meng’s kidnapping on 1 December 2018 in Vancouver, and the travesty show court hearings she has had to suffer up to now.
All of that dirty laundry would have been hung out for the whole world to see. The US (in)justice system kills and locks up poor and disadvantaged people with impunity, but Meng and Huawei are a totally different story (https://chinarising.puntopress.com/2020/06/08/protests-in-usa-land-of-marlboro-man-will-come-to-nothing-because-there-is-no-solidarity-no-vision-nor-guiding-ideology-to-unite-the-people-in-common-struggle-against-the-1-just-ask-the-black-pan/).
Before getting on her Air China plane to return home, Meng was typically Confucist-Daoist-Buddhist in her brief statement to the media, showing humility and grace (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nXfPpjHqaA). She can now be reunited with her family, colleagues, friends, and in China, she will forever be a national heroine for fighting the good fight since 2018.
I still have my exposé to write about the Two Michaels, who were reciprocally freed from prison in China to return to Canada. They were spying and got caught red-handed. More on that later.
